Novo Nordisk says Wegovy pill topped 3 million US prescriptions in five months

Novo Nordisk said June 7, 2026, that its Wegovy (semaglutide) pill has passed 3 million US prescriptions since it reached pharmacies and online providers on January 5. Cost and coverage remain the practical hurdles.
