Hims & Hers adds Zepbound, KwikPen and Foundayo prescriptions through LillyDirect
The telehealth company is adding another way for its customers to fill Lilly's GLP-1 drugs, but no specific prices were published, and neither company describes it as a partnership.
Hims & Hers said on April 23, 2026 that licensed providers on its platform can now send prescriptions for Zepbound vials, the Zepbound KwikPen and Foundayo to the LillyDirect pharmacy, where Hims & Hers customers can use Lilly's self-pay pricing [1].
The company said it expanded its platform so that providers delivering ongoing care to its customers can prescribe medications that are fulfilled by independent pharmacies [1]. Hims & Hers described the option as part of its weight loss membership, which the company says includes 24/7 access to a care team, personalized nutrition guidance, ongoing clinical check-ins and peer support in its Weight Loss community [1].
Hims & Hers did not publish specific self-pay prices in the announcement [1]. For comparison, in April 2025 the company listed branded tirzepatide on its own site — Zepbound, approved for weight loss, and Mounjaro, approved for type 2 diabetes — at $1,899 a month [2]. At that time, Eli Lilly said Zepbound was available starting at $349 per month for people who self-pay on LillyDirect, and that commercially insured people with coverage for Zepbound may be eligible to pay as low as $25 [2].
In that April 2025 statement, Lilly also said it had no affiliation with Hims & Hers and that Zepbound can be prescribed by any licensed healthcare professional [2]. Hims & Hers addressed the same point in its announcement, stating in a footnote that access to Zepbound and Foundayo "does not imply a partnership or affiliation with Eli Lilly and Company" and that any licensed healthcare provider can prescribe to a LillyDirect pharmacy [1]. The company noted that Zepbound, KwikPen and LillyDirect are registered trademarks of Eli Lilly and Company, and that Foundayo is a Lilly trademark [1].
The step follows what Hims & Hers called a strategic shift in its US weight loss business and a collaboration with Novo Nordisk covering Wegovy injections and pills [1].
