Victoza (liraglutide) reaches the US market for type 2 diabetes
Novo Nordisk's once-daily GLP-1 receptor agonist Victoza, NDA 022341, is first listed as marketed in the US. It carries a boxed warning for thyroid C-cell tumors seen in rodents and is dosed at 0.6, 1.2 or 1.8 mg daily.
